Materials
This page provides links to the (scattering-relevant) materials properties for a variety of materials. If a material is not listed, you can calculate its properties using the equations provided elsewhere on the site, or can try to find software that will do the calculation for you.

Calibration standards
Calibration standards are materials whose scattering patterns are well-known and well-defined. Thus, they can be used to calibrate an instrument; in particular to determine the sample-to-detector distance based on a scattering ring with a known q-value.

- Lanthanum boride, LaB6 (LaB6)
- Cerium oxide (CeO2)
- Sucrose (C12H22O11)
