Running
|
CMS ("Complex Materials Scattering") is a three-pole wiggler beamline at NSLS-II, optimized for advanced and ambitious experiments, including complex in-situ sample environments and autonomous experimental control. CMS can perform transmission and grazing-incidence scattering across a wide q-range (simultaneous SAXS/WAXS possible). Many sample environments are available for in-situ studies (thermal or solvent processing, tensile or shear studies, high-pressure, etc.); a robotic sample exchanger facilities high-throughput studies. The instrument is particularly well-suited to studying nanomaterials. Contact Masa Fukuto, Ruipeng Li, or Kevin Yager for details.
